MAINTENANCE FACILITY
Whether you need a fresh new colour scheme or rust treatment and repairs, Port Hinchinbrook Marine in Cardwell has a fully decked out facility to accommodate. A key element for protecting the investment you’ve made in your marine vessel is paint maintenance, cleaning, and protective barriers. Regular checks and maintenance on the surface of your vessel are required to safeguard against long-term damage. Boats need proofing against rust, barnacles and other types of growth, accumulation of dirt, as well as simple wear and tear. Beyond these protective functions, the right paint improves the aesthetic appearance of the vessel, so that it is both durable and visually appealing.
The paint shed facility at Port Hinchinbrook Marine is equipped to meet all your boat finishing needs, including resprays, paint repairs, fibreglass repairs, antifouling, wet and dry sandblasting, osmosis repairs, and protective barriers.
Do not turn into the Marina, travel up the main channel towards the boat ramp until you reach the canal visible to your port. Find us at the end of the canal. If approaching on land by Bruce Highway, we are just south of the town of Cardwell. Enter Port Hinchinbrook and continue to the end of Foxtail Avenue. Several buses service Port Hinchinbrook regularly every day, travelling north and south along the Bruce Highway from the Cardwell bus terminal. As well as a train service which leaves daily from the local train station.
